What is a Building Approval

The explanation of PBG is as follows, please note that currently IMB (Building Permit) has been abolished and replaced with a new term, namely PBG (Building Approval).
PBG is a license intended for building owners to change buildings, build new buildings, reduce, and / or maintain according to building technical standards, this is in accordance with PP Number 16 of 2021 article 1 point 17.

Administrative Requirements

  • Application letter addressed to the regional head
  • Photocopy of Electronic KTP and NPWP Applicant Power of Attorney (if ruled)
  • Land Ownership Proof Document (SHM, HGB, etc.) Statement of Mastery of Land Field (if not the owner)
  • Statement Letter of Dispute
  • Documents of the results of observation and/or technical recommendations from ministries/institutions (if required)
  • Neighbor approval document (if needed)

Technical Requirements

  • Picture of the Technical Plan that has been approved by the architect/technical expert
  • Analysis of Environmental Impacts (AMDAL) or Environmental Management Efforts and Efforts
  • Environmental Monitoring (UKL-UPL) (if needed)
  • Statement of ability to fulfill technical requirements
  • Estimated Document for Construction Implementation Costs
